This is one of the few spaces that is entirely your own and about you. Put your phone on silent and clear other tabs or windows that may prevent you from fully engaging in your session.
Take a few moments to get settled into your session before immediately jumping on from another activity. Allow yourself some time to also ease out of your session before transitioning into something else.
It is important to be open and honest with yourself and therapist about how the sessions are going , so that they can be tailored to meet your needs and you can get the most out of your sessions.
